From Rachel with Love

My first trip to the West Coast was this July. San Francisco ended up being colder than expected and I didn't end up falling in love with it like I thought I might. Maybe I'm just an East Coast girl at heart. I made the rounds at the typical tourist spots: Haight Street, Golden Gate. My friend was leaving for a 4 month long tour of Europe and Asia so I got to experience some local flavor at the Peacock Lounge on Haight Street at her going away party. All the photos in this series were taken on expired film with my Canon AE-1, a camera manufactured in the late 70's which accounts for the light leaks in the photographs.
